Labart is teaming up with our friends at Cape Byron Distillery for a special one-off lunch where the rainforest meets the sea. Experience a five course seafood lunch showcasing the native botanicals used to create the award-winning Brookies Gin. Hosted by Brenden Yeo from Cape Byron Distillery, each course will be paired with a Brookies Gin cocktail.
Located in the idyllic Byron Bay hinterland, Cape Byron Distillery is set amongst the lush rainforest of the Brook family farm. The family has replanted over 40,000 rainforest trees for regeneration over the past 30 years. Brookies Gin is hand crafted using Australian native botanicals grown in the rainforest in which the distillery is located.
Tickets are limited and this exclusive event will sell out fast. $155 per person includes the five course seafood lunch with five paired gin cocktails.
COURSE 1: School prawns, salt + pepper leaf
COURSE 2: Gin-cured kingfish, fingerlime, juniper
COURSE 3: BBQ Moreton Bay Bug, lemon aspen jam
COURSE 4: Steamed blue-eye trevalla, pickled rye berries
